Today, I plan on having a meeting with our library’s web committee about the library’s web content strategy.
I found several different resources on the topic.
Rebecca Blakiston (@blakistonr) has several resources on her blog. Including a few excellent presentations and a poster from ALA 2012.
A List Apart has a great article called The Content Stategist as the Digital Curator where they mention using analytics to drive content, timely vs. timeless content, and establishing a rapport with your audience.
Another great resource I found was the Readability Test Tool. You can enter in a website and see how readable your content is. This is really useful if you have a specific demographic in mind for an audience.
More to come!
